Ridge to reef(2023-2026)

As part of a consortium with CLEAR Caribbean Ltd. and Richmond Vale Academy (RVA) SVG, we are launching a new coral reef restoration project. The project which began in June 2023, run for three years (2023-2026). It is funded by the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund. This project will further expand  on our reef restoration project. It will also introduce organic agriculture (ecological farming) to the communities of Mayreau and Union Island. Because the project takes a comprehensive approach to restoration work, it will provide many opportunities to educate diverse communities about the values of marine conservation, protection, and restoration, and how closely our actions and decisions on land are linked to ocean health. CSO for Disaster Resilience 2023-2025

We have signed on as a new Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) CSOs for Disaster Resilience project. https://canari.org/ Over the next two years, WAM will be provided with capacity building opportunities and small project implementation to assist our community in building "resilience to hurricanes and climate extremes". We join 7 other organizations from Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, mainland St. Vincent and Grenada.
