About FarmHub
Food, Water and Nutrition Security
FarmHub or the Mayreau Farmers Support Hub is an initiative established in June o 2021 with the objective of supporting the farming community of Mayreau and our mission towards food and water security. Additionally encouraging more homes to take up backyard farming as a means of having ready access to fruits and vegetables to improve the nutrition of their families.
Sustainable Livelihoods
Another key objective of FarmHub is to encourage and build a strong bespoke agro-processing industry on the island. Along with farming, this is intended to support members of the group who are predominantly seasonally employed as vendors.
