As a founding member, President and Executive Director, Marion is a key driving force behind We Are Mayreau, Inc. She holds a BSc (Hons.) in Psychology with Criminology from the University of the West Indies (Mona campus, Jamaica) and a PGDip in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster (London, UK). Marion is passionate about community development and issues related to the environment, healthy people and collective action. She enjoys working with children and has a passion for the performing arts. She uses the arts as a tool to teach children about healthy habits, personal responsibility, self awareness and how to create and promote positive change.

Natesha is also a founding member of We Are Mayreau, Inc. and plays an important role in its growth and longevity. She is a high school math and science teacher with more than a decade of teaching experience. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill campus, Barbados), and an MSc in Quantitative Finance and Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, Scotland). She is passionate about community engagement and has been recognized by Mayreau Government School for her volunteer work in youth education and development. She is a Chevening scholar. She currently serves as Vice President and Secretary of We Are Mayreau, Inc. 

Alana Adams

 Alana is currently a teacher at the Canouan Secondary School and a holds a BSc in Marketing from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill campus, Barbados). Alana is the Public Relations Officer of We Are Mayreau, Inc. She is also responsible for the children and youth affairs portfolio as part of her commitment to the Mayreau Community Centre. Alana’s efforts are motivated by her belief that people can become better versions of themselves once they are exposed to a supportive environment. She is also keen to promote Mayreau as an ideal tourist destination. 

Annie Adams

Annie Adams is an educator with over 35 years of experience. She is a community development leader and activist. As Vice President of the Mayreau Environmental and Development Organization (1999-2006), Mrs. Adams played a critical role in the construction of the Mayreau Community Center. Ms. Adams has a passion for culture and performing arts and has been instrumental in leading and hosting drum workshops, pageants and cooking events.

 Aly is a cartographer and graphic designer who runs her own company, Tombolo Maps & Design. She holds a BA in Geography from Middlebury College (Vermont, USA) and a MSc in Geoinformatics from the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine campus, Trinidad) and currently works full-time for National Geographic. With almost a decade and a half of design experience and a focus on community-informed research in the Caribbean, Aly assists We Are Mayreau and the Mayreau Community Centre with graphic design, event planning, and social media management.
