Hurricane Beryl Relief
Hurricane Beryl, an almost category 5 hurricane, hit Mayreau on the morning of Monday, July 1, 2024, and its effects were catastrophic. Almost every building on Mayreau lost its roof and many suffered even more significant structural damage. Our community has lost their homes, businesses, and belongings.
We continue our efforts on the grounds, in St. Vincent and overseas to support the relief efforts on Mayreau. Our team has been working around the clock amidst shock, overwhelm and deep sadness to prioritise needs and ensure safety for all our community members. Thank you for your outpour of support and generosity during one of the hardest collective moments of our small island’s history.
